How we make money & verify data
VibeLedger is free to use. We plan to pay for it with clearly labelled affiliate links, sponsorships and (later) ads. None of these can buy a better position, a different price or the removal of an "unverified" label.
Affiliate links
Every "Visit" button goes through a vibeledger.dev/go/<tool>/ link, marked rel="sponsored nofollow". Right now none of them carry an affiliate ID: they send you straight to the vendor. If we join a vendor's affiliate program, its button will say "Affiliate link" and we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Tools without an affiliate program are listed exactly the same way, and affiliate deals never change prices, order or wording.

Program terms are on each tool page under "At a glance", with a link to the vendor's page. A "referral" program pays in credit or via the vendor's own referral scheme and is not an affiliate network.
Sponsorship
Sponsored placements are always labelled "Sponsored", sit apart from the tool data, and never change a price, order or verification date. There are no sponsors at the moment. Advertise with us.
How prices are verified
Every price, free tier, platform and feature on this site is copied from the vendor's own website, and each one links to the exact page it came from with the date it was checked. A script re-checks every vendor page and flags changes for a human to review before anything is published. If we couldn't confirm something it says Unverified rather than guessing. Every confirmed change goes in the public price change log.
Reviews and ratings
We don't show star ratings, review scores or user numbers. Hands-on notes are only added after we have actually built something with a tool.
